Course Overview
The Carbine Basic course is designed to give students an extensive introduction to weapon safety and teaches the skills necessary to effectively operate a carbine-style weapon. Familiarization with their carbine includes field stripping and maintenance. Other subject matter that is covered includes reloads, presentation, firing positions.
The course is designed to develop skills for the student who uses a carbine as a primary firearm in a tactical environment. Candidates will practice skills that will reduce reaction time, increase speed effectiveness with a higher degree of accuracy, and increase confidence with a carbine. Students will leave with a good understanding of shooting fundamentals and how to apply them in a tactical situation.
All graduates receive a Certificate of Completion.
