Course Overview
Our Maritime Firearms Competency Certification comply with International Maritime Organization (IMO) MSC.1/Circ.1443 and Private Maritime Security Industry guidelines and ISO 28007 recommendations. This course is specifically designed as a practical firearms assessment course, live-firing range work, designed for potential or existing PMSCs with an established level of competency. This is not a basic course for beginners. This course is designed for annual refresher and competency certification.
The course is designed so that students can deploy on protection duties safe in the knowledge that they have the correct safe weapon handling skills and an adequate level of accuracy when shooting. SVS Risk Group Maritime Firearms Competency Certification is globally recognised by all leading Private Maritime Security Companies and regularly audited to ensure compliance with industry standards and Private Maritime Security Company standards.
All graduates receive a Certificate of Completion.
